Neostigmine, Physostigmine — reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitors that prolong the action of endogenous acetylcholine at cholinergic synapses; used in myasthenia gravis (neostigmine) and to reverse non-depolarizing neuromuscular blockade or anticholinergic poisoning (physostigmine, for its CNS penetration).
